Useless day.

Ideally, we are moving into the house beginning tomorrow.

The scared of commitment part of me that had been serenaded to sleep by the utter beauty of the ol' man is beginning to twitch at the idea of living in the same room. No room of my own to run to, sleeping in a bed we buy together.

Graaaaah.

See the cat? See...

it had to come to this eventually . . . its one of the directions relationships move into.

take it slow, be patient and gentle. thats the ticket.

my girlfriend is still asleep, and will possibly be for another hour or two. this is her way.

be well,

okay, so the last post was being lame when i tried to edit it.

All my sculpture is being fired as we speak, except this big moon goddess one. There will be pictures of all later.

I do, however, have now THREE desktops for SG Army.

Had this realization that pretty much everything I create is kind of creepy, even if it makes you smile...

Sunny day.

Today I get over my fear of glazes (for bisque-ware and pottery stuff)...it is a strong fear.

Ten days until my birthday subscription runs out.

Today's question:
Do you aim for a style with recognizable [visual]vocabulary?
My answer:
My style is recognizable as mine, with a 'vocabulary' that changes to suit the audience and piece itself.

i haven't done enough 3d pieces to even have an opinion. when i write i try to be concious of "the norm" of fiction ideas, but not married to them

i hope you will re-up and stick around after your b-day present runs out . . .
glamerdork:
i don't sew either.

I've only read cats cradle. I plan on reading more when i get the time.

Ugh, on the hold with ATT Wireless, trying to get my $400 deposit back from when I got a cell last year. Not like I have one now, I am just paying the damn bill until I can find a cheap new phone to replace the old one that disapeared.

Yay! I should get it in 3-6 weeks or sooner (?) which will be nice,...

Yay, one of the backgrounds I've made is up!

Spent all day yesterday in a car, driving all over getting applications for jobs. Eesh. I want to work at Auto Zone. That would be so rad.

Getting all my sculpture-work done for class, only a week left of this term. I am so glad. I always look forward to the summer, when all I do...

Applied for THE house. We've been looking at this castle for a long time and now we have enough people. The mix of personalities will be...interesting. It's going to be like living in a sitcom.
The porch is rock though. The house is situated between two main highways, so we can sit on it in rocking chairs and smoke while watching the cars drive by...

around here.. if you go to the grocery store or more importantly wal-mart or target or something along those lines and ask them for boxes if they don't have any they will usually tell you when they get their shipments in... my last move tho i went out to dollar general and bought a whole bunch of those huge rubbermaid containers and moved all my stuff in that.. it was much easier and they all stack into one neat stack and can be used for storage latter... we are using those now even tho we lost the lids..
i added you to my friends list

Got lost looking for the lofts at First Thursday (a free gallery day here in P-town), but finally ended up there.
(^ ^)
Saw a beautiful violinist with long legs and flippy blonde hair, the guys and I were just drooling. Women are so beautiful when they can play the violin.
Also saw a glitter and fur parade/band thing when I came out of Gallery...

Sunshiney day, must be may.

And now I go to sculpt.

Had this realization today, no matter how sunny or cheerful a piece I create seems to be, if you stare at it just a little bit longer, you sense the creepy undertones. This is unintentional and weird.

The ol' man and I have this blog we share on (http://apatheticface.blogspot.com) and this was his last post:

"im sorry if u r lonely blog shes found a new e-mistress in SG.com"

Silly boy...(*^ ^*)
tis true though, I paint all the freaking time, but I only have so much writing in me. Weird.
punkinhead:

tadzi:

Found my Moleskine mini-journal (check it out at Powells, beyond cool) which I thought I had lost and was all super sad about. I mean, I write like mad in that thing and to be without it for a whole week was insanity.

So to celebrate, here is a taste of what I think while I am smoking outside:

"Being two inches away from you...

Working on crazy-ass construction sculpture in class. Foam core and hot glue. But if you let the hot glue cool for a couple of seconds and then stick your fingers in it and pull up a little. You end up with rad flower and fungus shapes that are creepy cool.

Also working on series of insense/candle/lightshow sculptures. Yay for having a hippie professor who told...
