february is black history month.

we lost ossie davis; PBS re-broadcasted (for the nth time) Make it Plain
what else..oh yeah, ghetto superstar @ joe's pub is a must see for anyone who loves broadway, gay men, black gay men, amazing singer and/or a good story telling

i missed butch morris' Band Big and Osunlades' live band at the Knitting, among other things.

and i almost fell back into where i shouldn't be-vis a vis my (ex-) girlfriend. at least she was cool headed enough not to be swayed by temporary flare of emotions. thanks love.

so now i'm free to pursue something new. something different.
for once being cvompletely spoiled, indulged, showered with gifts instead of me being the sender/spender

and now march is upon us
sign of spring is everywhere-though it's hard to see on the surface while we are covered in massive snow...
