Blogging from an airplane!! Wooo!!!
Well, obviously by the time i actually post this i will have landed. In fact i probably won't post it until late tonight, if at all today. It is Thursday at 11:15am. Going to see Kevin!!!
I have had soooo many crazyass adventures since leaving home. I've been from one end of this country to the other and everywhere in between so many times i've lost count. I want to write a book and share my ridiculousness with whoever feels like spending the time to read about it... but storytelling has always been hard for me. No story truly has a beginning or an end. Where would i start? The day i got kicked out (my 18th birthday)? Well, that would be a logical starting place, but how do i explain WHY i left home? I can hardly leave it at 'my mom's a cunt'. Should i start with when i ran away at 17 and spent two weeks living as a vagrant? Should i start with the countless nights i spent having mini adventures with my friends, like the time Sami and i went out to the desert on a whim in her luxury jeep and ended up starting a bonfire with some random rig worker, talking about life, making fire designs with gasoline, and blasting techno? Hell, if i REALLY want to tell of all my travels, why not start from the first time i was on a plane- from Ft. Worth, TX to North Salem, NY at mere days old? No, because then i'd have to tell my parents' and siblings' stories....
And how will i end this saga? My travels are not over, not even close. They won't end until the day i die... and who knows, they might continue even then.
Mayhap the only way to share my adventures with the world is through the connections i make everywhere i go and the friends i acquire along the way. It seems such a shame to keep my stories locked inside myself... Maybe someday i will learn how to share my crazy life. Until then... see you when i see you. I might be in your town next week.
