Reservoir Dogs.

I'm not at all one of thsoe people to swoon over a particular director and their every move (or movie). Tarantino is no exception. He's talented but that doens't make all of his movies amazing. Still, Resevoir Dogs is pretty dman deserving of 'amazing'. Granted he took the idea from elsewhere but barebones, he allows the actors to act and not be eclipsed by outlanding sets, special effects or crazy action sequences. Refreshing, too bad it's over ten years old. And now Tarantino has gone for the glitter. grr. Still, Harvey Keitel and Steve Buscemi...high quality.
