We have an street north of where I live that have peakcocks running loose and although pretty, they are a very noisy bird. If you've ever heard one, (no doubt you have), you won't forget it. I think they're neat, especially when they go into display mode.... What a great sight to see a peacock walking by your front door

Great post. When I can't read, I usually end up watching old episodes of Flash Gordon on DVD. I remember those when I was just a kid and they are a hoot, but after awhile, they put you to sleep.

Just read "Animals in Translation". A great book. If you haven't read it yet, you should check it out.

i'm just now coming to terms with the time change. it really screwed me over on Sunday because i didn't even hear about it happening, and i was tragically hungover and had to scramble to do the radio show that day.

Having worked in more restaurants than I would like to admit, I have this idea..that the washrooms should be the first part of the place that you see when you walk in the door..like maybe they should awlays be right up in front..cause then you can see what s hape t hey are in, and decide to stay or not based on that..Cause as a rule, attention to clean washrooms and attention to good clean food tend to run together..adn vice versa..but there are exceptions, I mean In my misguided youth I spent time in a few McDonalds that had sparkling washrooms..and well, , I mean , McDonalds! And I've been in a few very greasy spoon diners..where the place wasn't so spotless, but the food was great (And I didn't after)

i just paid the $48 again...i thought that if i had access to nude photos of hundreds (thousands?) of beautiful women, i'd look at them all the time, yet i only renewed my membership to keep up with the friends i made here...i mean i tried to go a day without it and got a little lonely, but it's been weeks since i looked at a set that wasn't of, or shot by, someone i knew...what i'm saying is, i understand.
