Still here...

Apparently the free thing is for 3 months and not one. Cool I guess.

I'm not hating the site as much as I did at first. Things are getting a bit smoother. Still loads that needs to be fixed but I do like that being mobile friendly as brought many SG 's back to posting.

Too bad the boards are gone and the groups are really kinda annoying still. So many groups were removed or merged. That's kinda depressing.

ON a different note. I'm still in Texas. It's still slowly killing me. Portland seems so very far away. I miss it badly but I know it's not likely I will get back to the city anytime soon. I am considering looking into other areas of the PNW instead. I'm also still considering the Philly area.

Finally got around to busting out my new dehydrator. Made some amazing apple chips along with some banana chips. Also dried some roma tomatoes and some button mushrooms. Those last two are mainly to add to soup. =]

My health issues have made it necessary to remove all forms of legumes from my diet. This is making life as a vegan very hard. No peanut butter, tofu, miso, tempeh, peas or beans of any kind. Sigh.

Any way that's it for now. Doubt many people are reading this anyway.

Oh and I'm so glad I finally figured out how to fix my feed here. Makes it so much more useful!

Oh, and the return is now apparently submitting.

And shift-return is submitting, as well.  ;)  All of the groups I was in are still here or merged with others.  They seem to work the same.  I thought you had found something in Florida?  Maybe I'm mis-remembering.  Or maybe you didn't want to die in a sinkhole.  Portland still sucks for finding affordable housing, assuming you can find a decent job.  I saw an article today that a developer is building a new apartment building with 200 square foot apartments - just a bed area and bathroom with a shared kitchen area down the hall.  Welcome to Japan West, apparently.  Seattle's economy is much better right now.  No legumes would suck.  Sorry to hear that.
