I dreamed again about my mother.
She died nearly 8 years ago. Usually when I dream about her we are both aware that she is really dead but in this dream she did not know she was dead. It was hard to deal with.
But I love getting to 'see' her again. I still miss her. I suppose I always will. I'm still kinda mad that she didn't take better care of herself but she was weary of this world so when she got cancer she pretended like she didn't know and waited way to long to do anything about it. It nearly killed my father to watch her slowly die. They were high school sweethearts. Married for 42 years and still in love until the day she died.
Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I ended up having a fairly nice day. But more importantly I think I've finally managed to truly let go of the past and make my birthday a thing to celebrate. Not a day to mourn the lost of a family I never really had.
So next year. I'm gonna have a huge party and you're all invited!!!

That is so sad, I couldnt imagine seeing the women I loved die like that, or die at all for that matter, and seeing my mom go like that would be really tuff to, maybe your dreams are a way for her to get to see you to.
Im glad your birthday got better, I hope next year you have a really fun time.
