I need to first say how horrendous I have been lately at posting and getting back to people! Self-centeredness is a sign of being immature - it's also one of the diagnostic criteria for various personality disorders in the DSM-IV-TR...I actually was looking through my copy of the book - I used to have initials next to various diagnoses for family and friends. Just in case I forgot....
