I had a good night.

I went to a DINNER PAHTAY. We sat at long, beautiful tables, and were served a six course meal. It started off with strawberry daquiri soup with lime sorbet, then olive oil/butter poached butter fish wrapped in a shrimp with spring rolls, then lamb with mint sauce and a vidalia onion/pear chutney, followed by a blackberry sorbet to cleanse the palate, next was a course of mashimi beef (I know I'm spelling that wrong), which is a type of beef that they massage the animals with beer and feed them a special diet, raised on an island in japan. It was served pretty much raw, it melts in your mouth like butter, almost. that was served with polenta (sooooooooooo good). next came the dessert wine, and after that, a strawberry-rhubarb shortcake.

then an after dinner camel light.

yum. food is good. we left before any naked hot tubbing got started though.


i'm having a huge birthday party at the end of august. are you coming?

someone come help me clean my house, please.

I'm putting in a ton of overtime at work. I like the paycheck, but man...my house is getting to be a disaster area. my kitchen has been smelling kinda funky for the past couple days, and the cat really needs her litterbox changed.

life is good.

i finally watched the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. very good flick.

watched the director's cut of underworld. an okay flick.
