Good morning!

So I had a job interview this morning. I think it went pretty well. It's not for anything fantastic, but the benefits are out of this world (think: semi that comes a couple times a month, and you can leave your keys and they change the oil for you) heeheheeee okay, so it's more than THAT, and also making more money than i've ever made. not in my field, but beggars can't be choosers, i guess.

I'm dreeading Christmas. I don't have enough money to buy people presents. I'm trying to make some, but I know that just isn't as good sometimes. sigh. So cross your fingers that I get this job! If I get it, I swear I'm gonna buy some people gift memberships on here. You know who you are.

I love books.

I'm burning a mellow mixed cd. So far, I've got Fiddle and the Drum by APC, Farewell and Goodnight by the Smashing Pumpkins, A Warm Place by NIN, Behold! The Night Mare by the Smashing Pumpkins, Adrift and at Peace by NIN, The Miracle by Leonard Cohen aaaaaaaand some others I'm still mulling.

I love making mixed CDs. I'm such a dork about it...I like to make little jokes that only I understand. Like at the end of FIddle and the Drum, the last line is: "We all have come to fear the beating of your drum" and the first part of "Farewell and Goodnight" is a very quiet drum, it's very very eerie, if you've heard both songs one after the other. Or when I put a Cruxshadows song, then the next song first line "Blackbird singin' in the dead of night". No one usually gets it except me, and if I explain it, i just get weird looks. but whatever makes me happy, right?

Recommend your favorite mellow music. Please?

and some books. I love to read.

Okay, and no more whining about money, cuz it's bugging Smuffy. Honestly though, it just takes over your life, and it's all you think about sometimes. K, whining over!!
