I watched fahrenheit 9/11 for the first time tonight.
Yes, you heard me. The first time.
I went into it with mixed feelings. I'm not a republican or a bush supporter in any way, yet I was still prepared for an extremely biased and over the top opinion.
I wasn't disappointed. I very much enjoyed the film, but the way in which certain part were presented really got me thinking about the American People as a whole. Maybe it was supposed to do that, it's hard to say.
It struck me as very high school, to be perfectly honest, extremely simple. I enjoy a movie that leaves me room to form my own opinions, or at the very least, draw my own conclusions, even if I've been led there by the nose.
Sigh. I was going to write a long journal essay on my feelings about this...but something tells me it's all been said. It's old hat by now, and no one would really read it, and absorb what it says, or even care particularly much. I've been feeling that way about a lot of things lately.
Maybe I'm in a rut. Or maybe it's just everyone else that's in the rut.
In the meantime, go watch this.. You might like it.

I sent him that link and all he had to say was "Dude, is that APC? COOL. I saw them in concert blah blah blah blah....."
me: What did you think of the video?
him: it was okay, but i like the tool videos better. remember that one with the naked white dudes?
me: uh...yeah.
so should i get off my high horse? maybe not everyone cares about the bullshit that I care about. is that any reason not to chat with them?
Maybe I'm just bitter, or arrogant, or a drama queen. whatever. maybe i'm just rambling.

I have another job interview this morning. wish me luck.
UPDATE: I GOT THE JOB!! they offered it to me on the spot!! I am now the new executive assistant and in charge of all inside advertising for Performance Electric!
