I'm helping a friend write a book. It's HIS bok. I'm just editing and suggesting. But see, the thing is, he doesn't always take my suggestions, which is obviously cool, since it's his book, but....dude.
I realize, I could just write my own book.
Yeah. That'll happen.
Well, good news on the job front.I've been sending out resumes forever it seems, making endless phone calls, but NOTHING. no responses. Or little postcards that say "Thanks, but no thanks".
My last resort was just a half hearted attempt to email a bunch of places. So I did, I emailed about twelve places a couple days ago.
Within twelve hours, I had over six responses.
I have two interviews, one tomorrow and one tuesday. I'm very excited. The one tomorrow is a preliminary interview, the job is at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens, which would be fantastic. The first line of the ad: Break out of your cubicle! Enjoy a workspace surrounded by prime views of a gorgeous garden! How fun does THAT sound? The job is for a registrar/administrative type thing, basically your standard receptionist type things, filing and such, but also putting together activities and shows, that sort of thing. I need to get my foot in the door somewhere, and this place would be ideal. And it pays well
So keep your fingers crossed for me, okay? OKAY?!

and for you hot beautiful people of the 1:05...I accidentally clicked on "leave this group" I DIDN"T LEAVE ON PURPOSE!!! I did, however, leave on a porpoise:
Their names are George.
