Holy crap, it blizzardeded out last night and this morning. we didn't get ANY snow for christmas, just rain! and now after christmas we get dumped on. sheesh.
i'm glad i get to cuddle inside with my kitty and a cup of apple cinnamon tea.
i just finished American Gods last night by neil gaiman. pretty amazing book. sometimes i'm amazed by the ideas people come up with. i've always wanted to be a writer, but i look at most of the stuff that's being written and think to myself "how could i ever come up with anything that hasn't been done in some way shape or form already?" but then authors like gaiman, palunuick (sp?), even sharon shimm, others, and it gives me a tiny shred of hope but also a whole lot of yeeeaaaah right, i can't even remotely compete with that.
oh well.
