Did I ever tell you how damn glad I am that winter is almost over? I didn't really realize...all I've done all winter is sit at home and read or watch tv or do nothing on the internet. It's weird, I have so much time off now, three days a week, that i dont' even know what to do with myself. I'm so used to school and work and a zillion other things that now I dont' know what to do with myself.
ah well, but i did have a good time last night. I went out with my best friend, we started off at jake's, then went to 29, the bar we used to go to all the time, once a week at least. It was the sort of ......SG style bar, the only one in green bay, really. Played good music, good people, awesome bartenders, good drinks, etc. Now it's completely changed. rednecks, frat boys, they took down all the art off the walls, and the place was EMPTY. the regular bartenders weren't there, and the owner that was bartending kind of sucked. i'm sad, it's a shame when that shit happens, but we still had a good time.
then i ended up playing cards til six thirty in the morning. it was fun though, lots of yelling and drinking and swearing and spilling wine all over brock. HA! and i found out an advantage to living in wisconsin, when we walked to the gas station, our popsicles didn't melt! i had an incredible hulk bomb pop. can't go wrong, i tells ya.
so i feel antsy and restless. i want to call all my friends and make them hang out with me. i'm so damn glad winter is over. i don't think i've ever really thought about the winter blues, but i surely had it this year.
anyway, who wants to come over and hang out? eh? eh? eh? Smuffy?
