i almost have to love only having one job, even though i'm flat broke. i spent today napping in the sun, playin with the kitties, reading a book.....it was awesome. it's nice not to have responsibilities for a while.

no chess night tonite, missy had a headache. =( poor girl

hahaha, funny, i see missy with her boyfriend, and they are so adorable and cute together, makes me sad for nate, all the way in denver, then i have to think, why can't i meet a boy and be happy for a while? then i look at the guys i have to choose from around here. scary thought. anyone need a girl to live on their couch? I need to get OUT!!


anyway, me and a friend are starting an ezine called flask fiction that features flash fiction, short fiction, poetry, and some limited art pieces. the actual site isn't active, and won't be until the first issue, slated to come out in july. the theme is so perfectly SG, we want edgy, out of the ordinary stuff. we don't want to hear poetry about how your boyfriend died and you are crying on his grave and the flowers are dead. if you feel you MUST write on this topic, tell it from...your cat's point of view or something. we want stuff that's out of the ordinary! so if you are interested, either contact me through sg, or email poetry@flaskfiction.com (i'm in charge of choosing the poetry and art pieces, and screening anything else i get) so submit!
