the power went out twice today, once in the morning and again in the evening. It was annoying, and threw off my plans for laundry and stuff, but it was kind of cool, being able to see a few more stars than usual (the whole city wasn't off, just my neighborhood), and get in some reading by candlelight.
Life is wierd some times. This morning, I read in the paper that one of my best friends from elementary school, who I haven't even spoken to in years, got fired from his job as a substitute teacher and arrested for sharing his weed with high school students.
