I can't quite say I'm ashamed to be an American, but I'm totally dumbfounded at the idiocy and gullibility of 51% of the American electorate. It's like they really live in a parallel reality, and it's incredibly alienating.
I'm in Nice, France right now, and still having lots of fun on my trip, but it's impossible to think about "home" or the news now without getting incredibly depressed.

While it was only 51 percent, if the other 49 sit back and allow four more years of depleted uranium bombs, economic suffering, and environmental destruction, it will go from being 51 to 100 percent of america that the world hates.
