this has been a pretty fun weekend. I am using today to relax and recover. We're going to Colette79's parents tonight to have supper and do some laundry.
on friday night me, Colette79, Cai, and boyinbrown went to portage to Cai's brother's social. It was a fun trip. It was held at the Legion in portage, which was cool because it remined me so much of the legion in Killarney, where i grew up. Ahh, the country, so funny. There was an awesome old photo of Princess Anne doing a meet-and-greet at the Royal Train in Portage la Prairie that I wanted to steal, but Colette79 advised against stealing from our illustrious war veterans (rightfully so)
on our way there we drove through a crazy rainstorm! It only lasted a few miles, but it was pretty intense:
we partied good and hard

We went to a party last night too, but it turned out to be a lot less cool than the last one at my old place. I was half partied out anyways. and i really am now. Until Kareoke tomorrow I guess. I have the next 2 days off though, so that's very exciting!
