I'm talking to my guy friend, an ex from a while back, and he's talking to me for my opinion on his situation with this girl he's interested in. He's worried b/c her ex (just a friend now) is coming in from out of town. He trusts her but not the guy. She reassures him that nothing will happen. I assure him that he shouldn't worry. Not more than 5 seconds later....."So what about you and me? We gonna hook up soon?". I bust out laughing and tell him how contradicting that is since he's worried about the new girl. He revises his whole outlook and says, "Well her and I aren't official so I guess I wouldn't worry about something happening btw them. No big.".
