Ok so went to the Astoria to listen to the vocal stylings of Stone Sour.
First up were Bullets and Octane who i have wanted to see for quite sometime now.
Holy! They were killer, i can't believe i had left it so long to go and catch one of their shows! And for it to be at the Astoria was just,well, extra special...in short they kicked ass.
Next StoneSour after watching the two Asian chicks in front of us give each other neck massages and not offer them around. I had a sore neck and thought this to be quite rude and pretty much showing off.
Stone Sour were everything i thought they would be plus a little more. Great rendition of Wicked Game with Gene
from B&O, lead into Bother which in turn lead into Through Glass...a great sing-a-long moment for all.
Overall i felt like the kid on that old school McDonalds ad..."sometimes when i leave, i just wanna go back there."
I really didn't want it to be over.
