just trying to clean up and get into the schoolwork. this weekend my mom's making lasagnia for my birthday dinner, and i request key lime pie as my "cake". it's my favourite. my mom's super stressed because my dad is going out to buy a new car instead of buying out the car we've been leasing, a subaru impreza, which was just installed with a new engine this year at the cost of the dealer and which had been agreed upon to be their car for the next while. but he changed his mind and he's out leasing a new one instead against my mom's wishes. he spends like crazy but barely cleans anything around the house and he's always late doing paperwork and most importantly, taxes. most of the morning i have spent sitting and talking with my mom while she vents but she's not in good health and the stress my dad causes doesn't help. it also doesn't help with his mess around because we can't clean our dust and it's making us sicker. i find my house claustrophbic somtimes. i think he probably spend 5 grand a year on magazine subscriptions.
