i'm almost 23 and i feel like i have no friends

i just feel very...stuck, here.

like i still have yet to make a best friend

my best girlfriend is not really the best girl friend one could have...

ever since i came back home to whitby it has been really hard to make friends

friends-making opportunities are not presenting themselves very easily

and i feel very socially inept. it's very frustrating.

it's especially lonely now that it's winter and i am in the house pretty much all day long.

i know i have just a couple weeks before NZ and then school and then good things will come...

but it doesn't change the loneliness of now.

You know best friends seem to come and go. They are there a few years and then maybe there is none for awhile then maybe another. The seem to ebb and flow with the tides of your life.

Your current situation is probably more related to being home alot without other activities getting you out of the house than anything else. School and work would alleviate that when they start back up. Don't fret too much I am pretty certain this is just a passing phase....

you can see you aren't the only one who has the problem, but that doesn't really make the loneliness of the situation any better. Have you tried working on any art lately? Perhaps you can dive into creating something to focus some of your recent angst.
