I have become somewhat of an insomniac this year. It just seems like my mind goes into hyperdrive at night and if I manage to get to sleep at all, it's really uncomfortable with crazy dreams and nightmares. There are so many thoughts going on sometimes it's like standing in a room at a party and having everyone shout in your ears all at once so you can't possibly hear what they are trying to say.Sets my teeth on edge.

So I started to take pills that just knock me out, from my doctor, but he doesn't really want me to be on them for forever, since they don't really solve the problem. I have about four left. Four more nights of sleep and then I don't know what.

It's going to be awful again. I'm kinda worried. So I tried to write about it and I had a line "and all of these stars could melt into my dreams tonight", which got extended and I turned it into this:

called "Sleep Deprivation"

One can be cautious to prevent
Make the most impressive of attempts
But who can stop
Celestial minds once set,
A multitude of stars issuing threats,
From seeking out dreams;
Becoming part of their mesh.
Too many thoughts demand attention
While the victim feigns rest
But this buzzing confusion starts to pest
Take your conversations elsewhere!
This tormented sleeper requests;
A deeper cavity somewhere would be best.
Id rather fight for relief than give in and accept
The weight of the world sitting on my chest.

Besides that I am incredibly bored during the days because no one is around to hang out then. they are either working or off writing exams. And I can't seem to get my mind to focus on reading or drawing or anything productive.

Seven more days until I'm working and my friends get back, then it'll be fine. There's a documentary festival in TO starting on the weekend and I'm going to try and get out for that, and lots of parties with ppl coming home. Until then *shrugs*

Anddddd I watched Howl's Moving Castle on the weekend too and I really liked it.
