I am still tired, but it is too hot in my room to sleep. I felt as though I slept kinda deeply last night, which is quite odd for me. Oh, how I already miss air conditioning. Autumn, I await you with open arms and windows.

The annual welcoming barbecue was held here yesterday at the graduate college. It was nice, but the food wasn't all that great. They didn't serve this penne pasta dish they normally do. Anyhow, I got there early, hoping to meet some new people, but I didn't. It seemed like all the new people already new each other. HOW does that happen? One pair seemed to be a couple. I highly doubt someone and their boyfriend BOTH got accepted to Princeton's grad school in the same year. Maybe he was helping her move in. Anyhow, it's annoying. I did get to hang out with my old friends though, which was nice. We later went to Triumph for a pint and came back here. Everyone was being lulled to sleep by the warmth of the room we were in, so we called it an early night.

I was up later than that, watching a bit of snl and chatting online. Well... not really chatting, since nobody was on, but there were a couple people in the sg chat room, which was nice. Of course, right after I went to sleep the chat room came alive.

Now, I await the NFL games. I am a sports geek.
