I watched Donnie Darko last night. First of all, I loved the movie. Second of all, Drew Barrymore was the executive producer. (!) Thirdly, I didn't find it *that* mysterious. I mean... yeah, you didn't know what happened until the end, but once it happened, it happened. The only thing that might possibly not make sense (and I am giving nothing away here that isn't on the back of the cassette) is his hallucinations. Anyhow, a really good movie it was. Go see it.

What else? I dunno. My stepmom found a dead baby bird in our little fish pond. Of course, I had to dispose of it, but not before getting some good pictures. OH MY GOD! How could you do such a thing?!?! Look, the damned thing was dead, and how often do you get to see a dead baby bird? Even if I don't end up liking the pictures, I still have them. I just had to take that opportunity. So, don't get on my case, because I am right and you are wrong.

This place seems pretty geared towards the west coast. Am I supposed to say "word" now? Anyhow, that's ok. There isn't much to do here in Indiana during the summer. Actually, that isn't totally true, but I just have to go further to do it. I will be glad to get back to Princeton this fall, where I am a PhD student. If nothing else, I can get good sushi there at a reasonable price. Oh yeah, and friends!
