I never knew this about some tree woods. Black Walnut, and Hickory trees are just some of the trees that are are poisonous to dogs. The leaves, nuts and sticks are bad. My dog likes to chew the smaller sticks of the Hickory tree in the comman area and has been very sick the last 3 days! He has got a total of 7 different shots over 2 visits to the vet along with IV fluids and other pills to take. He is finally starting to feel better now, but he was a sick dog for awhile. So please watch your dogs around these items!
