Do you ever get that strange feeling like you're supposed to be someone else...like you missed something in your life...like you took a wrong turn someplace down the line.

I got that feeling tonight

I was sitting down on my couch...studying...listening to Underworld...my thoughts were just going every which direction...dancing to the music...

I thought about how I could have so easily been something else...instead of doing math and science...I could have done art...I could have plunged myself more into music...gone to more concerts...danced more...done more drugs...instead of tying myself down and becoming what I am now...I only need look at my brother the graphic design artist living in Seattle to see some of the possibilities of what could have been

I'm not saying I don't like who I am...or where I am at this moment...but it's strange thinking about everything that could have possibly happened...if I had only done things a little differently

...if only I'd been just a little more free
