I wrote this the other day...a little bit different in style than I usually go....I'm more of a stream of conciousness writer but i was feelin the flow as my trip was fading so thus I came up with this:
(it will come.
in a cloud of acid smoke.
a parade of india
elephants and bedazzled ponies
the carousel spinning
head in the trees
feet in the mud.
the tent is metal strewn and sex heavy.
paradise i think.
it will come slow.
a few gremlins and elves in the forest
pushing and heaving on all sides
aqueous and stridant
the walls will cave in
snug, but afraid
i will step out into the rain
and find the path once more.)
it will come in the bleak
step over to the sun
open up the clouds when
the moon has finally come
eyes closed and fractal glows
there's nothing to fear.
as the vision grows
leaving out one door
crawling through the flame
once sat gabriel enjoying my game
lasers flash on every face
the contortions so clear
i swear i can taste
every single kiss
never once given
just lying in the grass
ultimately livin
in this world so created
as i see fit
knockin on the tents
as i eat another hit
i will see it come soon
and pray it near
with the sky opening blue
i will know when its here.
it will come.
dubstepped and bounced.
a truK on the decks.
hitting the smoke
as the sparks hit my neck.
the snakes in the trees
jaws open to consume
every weed once dead
has begun to bloom
on my command
the power is in my hand
i open my eyes to see this gorgeous land
and everything is clear
even through the frost
wandering through stars
not caring that i'm lost.
it will come
so soft and calm
it will come in the morning balm
i will open the shades
to see the dark
light another black to hit the mark.
a balloon in my hand
a gil snapper by the trees
fix the bowl right so i know that he too sees
the sparkles glistening bright
a day within the night
the cosmos glow in rhythm
the music earthly given
nothing stopping the light
even through the cold
a century in one sight
the leaves in 20/20 bold.
see, i know it will come
whether i am there or not
i will know
and appear
leaving the rest to travel here
in the space already seen
but never crossed
the message is written between the frost.
between the gnarled branches
between the tribal dances
i melt underneath and through
diamonds on my eyes in this morning dew.
calming and rushed
the stress dissipates under the brush
picking up a branch knowing its a key
unlocking the door that only i can see
pushing through the vortex
swirling through mist
blessing each person with this same gift.
it will come smooth and clean
it will come bold but unseen
it will come when i call
and decide to take the fall
it will come in a swirl of fire
it will come when its dire
it will come fast and bright
and i will disappear into its light.
fall out.
dip/dive/breathe...
it will come.
