I went to the museum yesterday with my family to see the Vatican exibit. The Catholic Church is something that has and always will amaze me, for many different reasons.
Now, I tend to mock everything on a daily basis, and the Catholics have never been an exception to the rule. I mean, seriously, is it really necessary to spend all that money on jewels to make yourself look like royalty, just to be a "religious leader"? Morons.
The best part of the exibit was this head piece covered with jewels, and the worlds largest emerald. It was given to some pope by Napoleon. Now, here's the part I like. A few years earlier, when Napoleon raided some city, those jewels were all stolen from the Catholic Church. So, he had this head piece made for dude with the jewels he had stolen from him... AND he purposly made it too small to fit the guys head.
Napoleon was the man... very little... but still the man.

i wonder if it fit Napoleon? Naw - he'd never wear such a girly green thing on his head. There's a great spoof of him in the film "Time Bandits" - along with a bunch of other historical figures.
