Many times throughout my life, people have asked me to name a song which represents my life or describes the way in which I am feeling. However, I have never managed to name such a song.
I'm not looking for a love song, or a breakup song, or a song about "shaking my ass"... most songs are about those kind of things these days. Nobody has died, I don't want to die and I don't want to kill anybody. It's pretty hard to find the song I am looking for
How am I feeling? I'm feeling powerful, slightly apathetic towards love and lust, feeling eager to advance yet confused as to where I'm headed. Oh I don't know... maybe I'll have to be the one to write this song!

This is completly self serving (i manage them) but if you want to hear some emotive, innovative music (think the brainchild of Bjork, Portishead and Air) give My Cerulean Heart a listen.

Here lately I've been listening to a lot of Deathcore music, because that's the music that speaks to me. The one song that really gets me though is "Wake Up" by Suicide Silence. Maybe it's because I just need to wake up and see what's in front of my face.
