Spent my first full day at the tattoo shop. It feels strange to finally be working towards what I love. It's going to take some adjustment for sure. ..having the guys critique every sketch, asking for very specific things that I'm not terribly good at drawing. ..it's quite a challenge but I'm extremely grateful for it.
I'm fighting the urge to start a gofundme to help with expenses. Having all that massive dental work done cleaned me out bad. It's just so against my nature to ask for charity. I'm not starving or homeless. It's just going to be a struggle to pay for everything and I hope the guys are going to be patient with my low income while I gather equipment. I'll be stubborn and tough it out. ..but it kinda burns me up when I see some of the stuff people make those accounts for.
At any rate, I'm on my way to a great future and I have truly amazing mentors. It's good to be happy again.
