@niffler thanks! I'm kinda intimidated. He's abnormally large for the breed (110 pounds as opposed to a normal 65 to 85 for males)Β  and is very protective so the transition will be a little stressful. I'm also not used to muzzling a dog.Β  I'm hoping that after he gets acclimated to us that we won't need to use it very often.

I really loathe social networks and what they've become. It doesn't make people closer, it just gives them an excuse to not contact you directly. Welcome to the unfortunate time we live in. My husband and I don't have a ton of pictures together because we usually spend more time in the moment with each other than documenting. I second guess, third guess, and hell, fourth guess what I post and usually still feel underwhelmed. It's fucking hard. My best friend and I luckily still make sure we text each other a couple of times a week but other than that, most of the contact I receive outside of my home only comes from social media. People don't message, they don't call (thank god...I don't want to talk on the phone), they don't text. They only seem to want to "like" and "comment" to be "seen". You keep doing you. As far as Instagram is concerned, make sure your comments to other are more than 4 or 5 words. That actually can help you in the algorithm department. It's not a booming difference but it can help.
