Music inspires me. Music will continue to inspire me for the rest of my life.

Music has brought me to the majority of the people in my life, whether it be working in music stores with them, playing music with them, and friendships over mutual love of music.

I owe music, as well as it owes me.

I'm loyal to music. I listen to all styles with very open ears, but try not to get sucked into 'fad' music.
Majority of my favourite records are old records. That's not to say I dislike new music, I just find myself preferring music of old.

Music helps with healing, music helps with feeling. Music booms when happy, music intensifies when sad.
Music holds a serious amount of power, and that power will continue to drive me.

Here are some records that continue to blow my mind, listen after listen.

The Smiths will always hold such a chunk of my heart. Morrissey, like or dislike him as a person he writes some of the most poetic, moving, humorous, and though-provoking lyrics I've ever heard.

Ryan Adams is a genius. I honestly believe he is one of the most amazing songwriters of my time. While he is celebrated amongst a very cult-like fanbase, he should be alot bigger than he is. I realise he was big when he first came out, but this guy is one of the premier songwriters in my opinion.

The Kinks are one of the best pop bands EVER. Ray Davies is such a brilliant, brilliant songwriter.

A Tribe Called Quest are one of my favourite groups of all time, no argument. The sheer epitome of cool.
Using jazz samples, along with basic boom bap drums just gives me the goosebumps and this track Electric Relaxation is beautiful.

If you guys like me talking about music and what inspires me, then please leave a comment or two.

Maybe, just maybe I'll make it a regular blog piece.

Hope you enjoy the tracks

Nick

Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre is legendary. I really fell in love with it's big pink elephant and it's white elephant of the room approach.

Why are you in Australia now if you don't mind me asking.

Wow congrats it's hard to find someone like that these days. Have you ever thought about together living in the UK?
