People are truely amazing...
my life has been so blog worthy, i will have to start with Friday and Sat at work. Cuase to be honest i was hypnotised today and im totally out of it. i will blog about THAT after i begin to remember it all...
OK. So friday at the bar my fellow waitress Elyshia was ultimately stiffed on a 200$ alcohol tab. apparently these guys kept tellin her they own a multi million dollar business. WELL when it came time to pay the tab the card declined. and when they "went to the truck to get another form of payment" the fuckers left her. and the bar policy is that the girls are responsible for that so we do not give out free liquor. luckily we kept running the card for different amounts and 190$ was approved. she was stilled screwed outta what shoulda been about a 50$ tip. well like all of us we need to pay bills. whenever anyone gets stiffed i throw in a few bucks. Elysha did not know it but friday night i threw her 10$ as she was counting her money. thats just how i roll.
BUT i needed to make another 70$ Sat night to make my bill payments and the fucking bar was dead. and i was there early. I had a table who was there from 615 to midnight. they had a 50$ tab and left me THREE DOLLARS. i almost cried. anyway, i had a few other tabs and one of them was a friend of a regular; his name is dave. he was wicked cute and sweet and i did what i always do: stay on top of things.
well, i guess one of my friends got pretty drunk and kept tellin everyone jokingly "nicki needs to make 70$ and if she doesnt she will be doing blow jobs in the parking lot!" and i guess dave probably heard him, cause he left me, get this: 100 on a 38$ tab!
i double checked with him, and when he siad thats what he wanted i gave him a note saying "THANK YOU. you have no idea what it can be like to be a waitress in a dive bar at times. you restored my faith in people. if you need anything let me know. hugs and kisses ~Nicki." and left him my number.
WELL i guess he did not find the note i left him til this afternoon and he called me. and we chatted. he is so interesting. i guess he was just so amazed at my outgoing personality and my attentive service he tipped amazing. so we are going to hang out soon. cant wait. its the least i can do for him.
