I've changed my website, well a little bit at least.
I'm in the process of adding new galleries, and making the old ones better - as well as putting up 2 of my SG sets thus far.

Not very active round here at the moment, but I'll be back in action soon enough smile

When the set was shot my Canon had come back from a repair job and there was a problem with the focusing with my Sigma 20mm f/1.8 lens (it had worked fine before the camera was repaired). That problem became apparant during the shoot and I ended up using manual focus, which worked well on some shots and not on others. I sent in the complete set of shots from the shoot, but I did not think that they would use the shots with obvious focus problems.

My 400D has been sent back with the kit lens to fix the focus problem. That lens works reasonably well now, but my Sigma still has a bit of a problem. Sigma are prepared to recalibrate the lens, and I presume that means that it will work well with my 400D, but perhaps not with another body? I can't help thinking what will I need to do I buy another lens, will that need to be sent in to be calibrated or can I expect it to work?

I never had as many problems with an old fashioned split focusing screen, except during concert photogrpahy where low light and fast moving action could be difficult. Sadly, Canon don't make a spit screen for their prosumer cameras, but I decided to buy a third party screen, and my Katz Eye split screen was delivered on Monday. That has cost me about 100, but my tests so far have been good with my f/1.8 and 2.8 lenses.

By the way, I like the shot you did with Fatal and your web site looks good.
