Spent the whole daytime yesterday sorting out my company accounts. First time I've actually done it since I started promoting officially in September. It doesn't bring the money back... but at least I know where it's all gone... or some of it, there are a couple of gaping holes. November adn decmber are receipt-free zones. Oh yeah, the taxman's gonna love that. 
And then... then I went to a hugely successful band rehearsal. Okay, so I still can't really play drums, but it's been six years, so I'm gona go easy on myself, cos I'll get there eventually. The trick seems to be to drink red wine in rehearsal, and then your arms don't hurt from doing superfast postpunk offbeat 16s. Doesn't keep you in time though.
Apparently I'll be getting a kitten today. We'll see. It's junkie's ex-cat, and may be a bit mauled. Poor thing. Bad timing though, cos White Heat is tomorrow, and I've got some last minute sorting out to do. Not sure what exactly, but there's always something.
