Another example of my stupidity?
So, those who know me and read one of my blogs some weeks ago, know that I love Chicken Piri Piri ... so, tonight was my chicken piri piri night: chicken legs in the oven, spiced up and nice and juicy! And of course I needed rice.
So what do I do?
I put the water in, a little salt and olive oil ... and some rice. Then I go start watching tv ... check on the chicken ... looks mighty fine ... mmm.... can't wait ... but oh no ... after 40 minutes I suddenly remember: WHAT THE F...? The rice must be destroyed ... yet I didn't smell anything.
So I checked the rice ... surprisingly cold and still hard. How's that possible?
Well, ladies and gentlemen .... , Doddi the brainiac forgot to turn up the heat....
If I was a cartoon character, there would be some donkey ears growing on me now...
Lots of drinking and partying tomorrow. A female friend of mine is 25 yrs old and it's gonna be hopefully fun. Pretty nerdy but fun.
