One moment in a day of a librarian...
He stood there behind the desk. Nothing had happened all morning, and there was little to do right after lunch. But later on, in the middle of the day, his world brightened. In walked this brownhaired and greeneyed goddess. She was dressed in jeans, sandals and a white polo shirt, with the buttons unbuttoned. She came towards him and leaned to him over the desk:
- Hi, I think I've been bad!
Startled, he replied: Hmm, what do you mean? (clears his throat and tries not to stare down the poloshirt.
- I've had these two books for too long ... so what's the fine?
- Let me see, he said and smiled to the goddess.
His smile made her feel warm inside and she smiled back. For a moment, their eyes met and they stared into each other's souls for a brief second. He then quickly mentioned the amount, she paid and he gave her the change. When he dropped the coins into her coconut-smelly palms, he felt her smooth skin and looked again in her eyes ... at this moment the world seemed to have stopped and only their eyes were the active force in the world.
- Thank you, she said softly and a breath followed these words.
Her breath smelled so fresh and his body quivered a little.
- You're welcome, he whispered.
Their eyes met again and they smiled at each other...
Yes - being a librarian is not boring!!

OH, I completely suck at debating in person. That's why I like the CE Boards: plenty of time to spell-check and re-read.
