Wow,

It has been a hell of a year.

I just realized my last post was over a year ago, and it was one hell of a year.

Last May, probably just a little while after my last post, I found out I had breast cancer. Sucked. Sucked a whole hell of a lot.

But thanks to quick diagnosis and a shit ton of luck I am now, a year later, cancer free.

Can't thank my amazing hubbie enough. While it was crappy to go through, I can't imagine what it was like for him to have to watch it.

But now that's over.

Been a great summer!

I got to go on a cruise with some of my best friends. Went to Hogsmead in Orlando, witch was fun. (See what I did there? Left the USA for the first time. Truth is I was unimpressed by Nassau. Hope my next time I get to leave the country the venue is better.

Also got to run around my favorite city with my favorite man. God, every time I'm in New York City I feel so alive. It really makes me feel like I'm in the center of the universe.

The rest of the summer has been geeky fun.

Renaissance Faire was loads of fun, and next week we're going again.

And we just got back from Gencon in Indianapolis. So much fun! Food Trucks. Cosplay. Dungeons. Dragons.

I'm beat!

Okay, Lovely Ladies and Gents, that's it for now.
