As a child I always had a strange fasination with the idea of Peter Pan. I dreamt of Neverland, pirates and indians. I imagined mermaids and lost boys, Wendy and John, Smee and Capitan Hook, Toodles and Nibs. I always dreamt that someday I could be the Wendybird to my own Peter Pan.

Even as an adult I still find myself getting lost in the concept of the childlike boy that refused to grow up. Even movies: Disneys Peter Pan, Hook, Finding Neverland, these visual adaptation make me smile from my soul. I become lost in the story and sights, the sheer idea of the freedom that children feel and can express.

I still clap for fairies and make wishes on stars. I find it wonderfully ironic that my dreams as a child have come to fruition and I am, indeed, the Wendy to my own Peter.

Even now, I still believe.
