Prom kicked ASS! I'll try to recount everything, but I doubt it's gonna happen...there was so much!
Friday afternoon we got a late start because someone was running late. We (myself, Cedar, Scopitone, and Talia) got going around 12:30 and stopped by Jujube's house and we started out caravan. It was a really fun drive up. Only made two stops. It was amusing having the walkie talkies between the cars. We got to Oakland and checked into our hotel then drove into the city to grab Fu and Max16Characters. We then went to the Curry. I was so shy...that was my first big SG event...kinda overwhelming. I can't remember what we did after that...I think we just went back to the hotel and crashed.
Saturday we woke up and Maxx came by. We got ready then went out for breakfast and to a Barnes and Noble because I needed a book with pictures to use as a reference for my hair. We went to Coco's school after that to get my hair done. The poor girl doing my hair had no idea what she was doing. I had to explain to her how to do sausage rolls. She spent like two hours on my hair and Cedar had to fix it when we got back to the hotel. We stopped by the prom location and helped lil_tuffy decorate. After that we went back to the hotel and got ready. Prom was amazing. I got so many compliments on my dress (even though I looked like a giant blueberry). I met so many awesome people. Everyone was -so- drunk. Went back to the hotel after that and crashed. I was exhausted.
Woke up Sunday morning and threw everything in the car then headed over to the San Remo and got a room for Sunday night. That hotel is AMAZING. Our room was beautiful. It even had a fire escape that we put to good use. Cedar, Jeremyscareme, Talia and I found some breakfast then hung out in the room for a bit while Cedar did my hair into fake dreads. They were awesome. When we were ready we headed to the Porkstore for the brunch. That was really fun. I was in such a good mood and being around all the awesome people made it even better. After we were done there we went to this bar up the street for a few minutes then headed to Fisherman's Wharf. I'm blanking as to what we did after this...I think we hung out at the hotel and got ready for the party. When we got to the bar there was a doorman, so we couldn't get in. Holly felt really bad so she said we could all go to her place, since Natalie had a key. Cedar, Natalie, Adore, Sid, Pip, Lemonkid, and I walked the few blocks to the place. On the way there we stopped in a porn store and bought two movies. They both sucked so Sid whipped out her voice recorder and we did a Mystery Science Theatre type commentary thingy. It was awesomely fun. After that we went outside and waited for Maxx to find us so we could head to this little diner thingy. It was really scarey and cold. Really really cold. We eventually made it to the diner and had some awesome food and milkshakes. After that it was sleepy time.
Monday we woke up and got ready then met up with Cedar,Adore, Sid, Pip, Koleeta, Scopitone, Derby, dreammaker, Jujube, WhoDoVooDooWeDo (pardon me if I've missed you. Just leave a little note and I'll add you on) and we got some food and went on a hunt for a tattoo parlor so Cedar, Adore and Sid could get tattos. We couldn't find a parlour in the area but we were refered to some place near Golden Gate Park. Cedar, Adore, and Scopitone hopped into my car and we dropped Scop off near Miffy's place so he could grab his camera. We headed to the parlour but they had a $100 minimum, cash only. Umm, no. So we headed to The Haight and dropped off Adore so she could meet up with her ride. We then headed down to Pier 39 and picked up Scopitone and Miffy. We took Miffy back to her place and looked at her baby kittens. SO CUTE! After that we hit the road. When we got back to LA we went to Toi for dinner and then I took everyone home.
AWESOME WEEKEND!
I'm picking up Scooter the special needs kitten tomorrow for Annabelle. I'm excited.
Edit: FUCK! I had my theatre final all typed up...and Word crashed and I lost it. It's gone...3 hours of work...gone.
