8/14 What are a few things you like to do to spread positivity?

💙 Smile. Joke. Laugh. Compliment 💙

These are some ways I choose to spread positivity to others, defuse tension or lighten the mood in a variety of different situations.

Smiling is free, doesn’t take any time at all and can go a long way for some people on the receiving end. I know from a personal standpoint, I truly appreciate when people shoot me a smile.

I am an expert at cracking jokes (sometimes at the wrong time 😬) and making people laugh, especially when times are tough. I am always looking for the silver lining in shitty situations and encouraging others to find it too when the going gets tough. It’s so easy to get upset and want to go down a negative path but it only causes more stress in the long run so why not accept what is and laugh about it 🤷🏻♀️ However, there is a time and a place for this tactic ☝🏻

Compliments are another act of kindness that can really help spread positivity and lets face it, everyone loves to be complimented. I honestly only feel this is an effective way to spread positivity if it’s genuine. None of this “mean girls” shit.
