I used to have this delusional thought that sometimes babies were happy when they were awake. In reality they just scream, head butt you in the face, try to suck milk out of your nose, kick your kidneys through your stomach and then scream at you again cuz none of the previous things made them happy.
Thankfully they're SUPER cute when they sleep else noone would ever have kids

There are times I've wishes I could remember what those sensations were like as a baby. What is the world like from that perspective? Babies make you think a lot!
