Cancer is still eating my Aunt alive. She is losing the battle. Sweet, loving, artistic beauty Maxine is dying. The woman who showed me how to see good in people again. Teacher of most crafts I know. More of a sister than as distant as an Aunt. I'm going to have to say Goodbye.
How do you watch the death of someone who loves you at your darkest moment when nobody would speak your name? How do you accept that those arms that would hold you so tight will never be so tight again?
A free, hippy spirit oh she will be. Her horrid childhood memories, all her sickness and pain just wont matter anymore. She'll be Aunt Maxie as she wants to be.
Dear Lord,
Grant me two wishes please, just this once. 1. Please let me see her before you call her home. and 2. Let her beauty live on. That's all I ask of you.

If you're ever down, there's a member on youtube (her name is Laura) who puts the most ridicuously cute videos up. She's just some middle aged, somewhat chubby, sweet lady who has like 6 ferrets and 4 cats and a dog... and she posts videos ALL the time. Her channel is Ferretocious... what makes them extra adorable i think is her narrating all the things the animals are "saying" and she has this cute little voice... she's always so entertained by her babies. It's a riot when you watch the ferret videos.
This is one of the new ones and it made me smile. So I hope you smile too.
