So damn much homework to do today. I had to spend 5 hours down at the Portland State library today looking up fucking medical journals to write reviews on. Not only did that suck, but the thought dawned on me that though my professors may be, I, as a student, probably am not qualified to review the work of actual practicing doctors. I thought for a moment about protesting the assignment, but I thought better of it when a saw a cute girl from my class working on her assignment too. So, we worked together. Hehe. I'm such a sucker for a pretty face.
Oh, and on a side note, I'm also taking a poetry writing class (mostly because it's an easy English credit), and an assignment of mine was to write a poem. Simple enough huh? But then when I started writing, I found that my mind is kind of a morbid wasteland cluttered with Old English bottlecaps and bong resin. Well here, lemme show you for yourself;
Reality
Yesterday I saw you standing there
Inside the horizon on that grassy hill
Green and vibrant, and you, a beacon of life
Creation and preservation all in one
Flowers and kittens and silk and cream.
I lift my hands to wipe the tears from my face.

WHAT KIND OF FUCKED REALITY IS THIS?
That was one of the ones that I wrote that I decided not to hand in to my teacher. It's kinda funny, but I dont think he would've seen it that way. That's just the way he rolls.
