My friend in Alaska did all of the stainless in our bar that I worked at. He did a few downtown as well. He did one stainless steel bar with ice that ran down the middle of the bar so that you could set your drink on it to keep it cool. He also made a waterfall that was 40 ft. with a stainless back ground. Yeah, I figured that welding would be hard work...but Im a hard worker and very dedicated to things I believe in. Anyone that knows me or has worked with me knows that. So, yeah, if you ever need a lackee when I move to Seattle, Id love to help where I can. So, what kind of welder do you use mostly? Through hookups, I want to get my friend's used plasma welder if I ever get the money. He got his at a kick-down price from friends and he said he'll do the same for me if I go up there.

I saw the show postcard that you worked at Blyss's page. I wondering how you did the effects?

Did you use photoshop, or airbrush the negatives themselves?

I have always been facinated with photography but i suck at it.

Ha - didn't even realize you were on the site til I saw in Blyss' journal she linked your name instead of just mentioned your name. I think we may have met out on the playa as well, on or near the silver pirate ship that our mutual friend Novatron was playing on. Cool trike, and I loved the art piece you guys did. I wish I'd gotten some pics of it... but then, there are a million things I wish I'd gotten photographs of out there....

It been a very long time since my place has been my home. It really has just been the place I sleep and keep my stuff... *shrugs*

so dood, i am very much hearing you on the lack of art on the playa this year. and did you know that you two were pretty much the only sgs i was actually seeking out? the thing is that i'd always get sheepish about asking around about where you guys were - something in my head made me keep imagining the other person thinking in their heads, 'hmm, ANOTHER guy that wants some facetime with blyss..."

but after this year, i have come to really appreciate you and blyss and what you've done in a different way. if the sort of art you guys do disappears from the playa, the place would lose its magic. as i've been telling everyone, i think it's time i stepped up to the plate after six burns. it's like geese flying south for the winter in a V formation - the leader creates the current everyone coasts off of. they all take turns, therefore, being the leader. i feel it's my turn.

so dood, i'm thinking of visiting my sister in west seattle soon in conjunction with the oracle gathering "space traveler" party. as soon as the oracle people announce a date, i'm going to make plans. i'd like to see if i can see you two - or either one of you, doesn't matter - in real time, as it didn't happen on the playa.

and remember - we burners DO appreciate the gifts you artists give. you are the lifeblood of the playa.
