So we ended up bbquing at the foundry for my bday. It turned out to be a great time. My parents and a good handful of friends and of course my girl and her baby to. It was great how dinner was just passing around plates of things as they came off the grill rather than each person having their own.
wow so much to...

Finished making a colapsible bed in a Mercedes/freight liner van last night. It was a long one. The design worked out really well though.

Blyss and I went to the Capitol Hill Block Party. Saw Smoosh. We also went to the Space Virgin Party. We had such a great time in the mellowist of ways.

damn, that sounds cool. Except the driving part; i don't know how enjoyable navigating a freightliner around would be. Especially from a supine position.

damn, now i'm extra-bummed i missed the show. I meant to stop by, but got otherwise engaged. Bah.

um, okay, this is odd, and let me preface this by saying i am *not* a stalker smile : I was driving up Phinney this evening around 5pm and saw you walking into the Lighthouse with your laptop around!! At least i'm pretty sure it was you; the braided goatee and topknot are distinctive, even for Fremont wink I would have stopped and said hello, but was running late to pick someone up. Maybe it would have been more odd if i *had* stopped to say hello. smile

steveadores was a word my parents used to use all the time. i so firmly understand now. its often seems as if my life is simply the moving of heavy objects. i should have become a down or styrofoam artist or something. eesh.
I am very stoked to be working at the fremont foundry however. Looking foward to trying out the english wheel(ever see american...

good to see that you are hard at work on projects. the gyroscope blyss posted looks very exciting and i can hardly wait to see it out on the playa. really!

i take it that it's interactive, right? i somehow imagine being right in the middle of it, though this might be wishful thinking.

i am hard at work, too, though on a much smaller project in size, though the difficutlies, i'd say, are much the same. i am making an interactive story, (mostly) paper-based. It's a bedtime story. but it's one-on-one. that's one thing about your stuff, miguel. it touches lots of people at once. i haven't figured out - yet - how to do this, though people keep telling me that's the next step.

It was nice meeting you at the SGB and I would love a chance to check out your guys' shop. smile

ooops i commented to myself instead of posting a new entry and forgot to copy the text before i deleted it. I am such a dork.
I am out in Sturgeon Bay WI, not much to do here. Neil and i were shooting a Palmer Johnson 150'. Very nice boat. Dark woodwork, gorgeous spiral staircase 3 decks and maybe the nicest wheel house I have...

alright, now it's more than just me who notices you around here.

dood, i think you need to paint yourself invisible or something, like i do!

alright, enough silliness. wow, but i'm quite surprised that blyss even remembers me, to be frank. we've had a few words at the beginning, but nothing particularly memorable. since then, i've barely said anything. but of course, i wish her well.

well, i've been burning since '99, and while i'm probably due for a break come next year, i treat bm like an oracle. i go to it to really check in with my life path, to ask of my day-to-day experience questions and see what it gives me for signs, which i end up interpreting in my own way as possible answers. it hasn't always been what i've wanted to hear, but it's always been valuable. i'm very interested to see what it tells me this year.
godzuki:
haha, i didn't say she was nearly *ready* for it; we tried the other weekend, and it was clear that it's probably not going to be this summer wink Maybe i'll give her my K2 when i'm ready to upgrade biggrin I don't know about the demo thing; Gregg's might, they rent some decent bikes.

I have a small graphic design firm, I do anything from massive corporate identities, brochures and Web sites to fun stuff for small companies or groups. I'm still getting my latest site sorted out; i've been too busy with real work to get it finished. I suppose that's a good problem to have.

cumulative fatigue.... is that a coined term. it certainly explains how i am feeling.... lots of welding to do today... hoping to finsh all of the metal fab for highway 99 today and get everyting installed so Blyss and I can go to Vashon Island for Davids party.

okay, so you thought no one knew of your presence here...

BUT NOW I DO!!!

YOU CAN'T FRONT NO MORE!!!

heh, i don't know what it is about couples and SG, really, except that it really must be fun for the entire family here. maybe you should get kiley a subscription!

okay, enough obnoxious crap from a stranger. i saw you on blyss's friends list and i couldn't resist. sure, i'll regret it later, but i had to say something to the other half of the couple that has everything, ya dig?
