Gah the weeks grind by at my big scary biotech company. Nobody has any social skills, I swear half the company is so painfully shy that they barely function socially. Scientists and IT guys, lots of talent from SE Asia... most of them freaks. Really smart people who are focused on just one thing to the exclusion of the rest of the world. Anyone play Half-Life? Thats what my workplace reminds me of. Access codes. White lab coats. Cameras.

I sit alone at the cafeteria and it feels like 8th grade, when I went to a new school. The only person in my dept remotely interesting is this woman who wears motorcycle gear and has a speech impediment. I figure the speech impediment cant be worse than a thick scottish accent, so I'm gonna ask her out to lunch. Maybe she has some spark, unlike all the other zombies...
