So I finally have time to do things I want to do and not just be stressed at work all the time. So 2 months ago I started this little project. I would rip cd's onto my external, everyday 20 to 25 cd's for 2 months. I'm about 90 % done, then I can put some music on my Dell DJ. I'm starting to realize my addiction to cd's is becoming unhealthy. The problem is I don't even have time to listen to the one's I have let alone the new ones I buy every Wednesday. My stack has grown to about 30 cd's that are still sealed waiting to be listened to. I can't wait to be done, then I can start my book. The Autobigraphy of Henry Rollins.
So next week is the tattoo convention, I want to get something, but I'm undecided to what. There's 2 things I want, both anime related. One would be on my left arm the other one the left side of my neck. So many choices, so little money...
So it's been 8 1/2 years in the making, I'm going back to Brooklyn, well at least for the weekend. Sept. 30th thru Oct 3rd I will taste real pizza, I will eat a real bagel not the shit they have here. I've been missing home for so long, making myself unhappy and depressed cause I feel like I've lost my connection to where I was born. I've lost most of my accent for fuck sake. I can't wait to see my old neighborhood, ride a real transportation system... here I come baby.
And the weekend after that I'm going to Vegas. "Vegas Baby". My goal is to gamble, go to a strip club for the first time, gamble, see a show, gamble, and maybe get married by Elvis, did I mention gamble. I'll be there from Oct. 6th thru the 11th. So I hope my cat has learned how to feed herself. It's gonna be a 24 hour party of booze, broads, and betting...
Random Newkirk Fact: My first kiss was at 10, the first time I smoked pot I was 16, the first time I had sex I was 17, the first time I got in a car accident I was 20, the last time I used drugs was 22, the last time I was in love I was 27.
PS: Is there anyone from Vegas that know of certain places I should hang out out, never been so I need a guide.
