Well today was a good day!
I went to the VA to get assesed for what type of job I would be able to do. After filling in the requisete circles with a #2 pencil of a questionaire to determine my strengths and skills it came to the following career choices:
1. Teacher Secondary ED- History
2. Teacher Secondary ED- Art
3. Teacher Secondary ED- Art History
4. Teacher Secondary ED- Humanities
So based on this wide a divergent set of choices the VA determined the following:
I might need to become a teacher.
So they sent me over to the community college to get enrolled in classes for January. Once I complete those courses they will send me to Central Missouri University to finish my degree.
All this will be fully funded, and they are giving me a part-time job at the VA while I am attending classes so that I will have plenty of time to study and succeed. Say what you want about the VA, but for me they are doing wonderful things.
